the midland is a lovely place to stay! the lobby is grand and really sets a luxurious tone. it’s close to the christmas markets, which is super convenient for holiday fun. i enjoyed drinks at the lobby bar and the spa amenities felt recently renovated. the bed was very comfortable. I loved the deeply hydrating facial treatment.

Breakfast was a delight with scrambled eggs just the way I like them and the staff kept everything stocked up making it feel fancy and inviting I even got some hot chocolate in the lounge area that was just what I needed after a long day.

It wasn’t pricey but still felt like I was paying for quality service.

Access to the spa left a lot to be desired. you have to book right upon check-in, which can be a hassle, especially when the times are fully booked. The beds in the Superior Twin Room felt uncomfortably firm for my liking, detracting from a good night's sleep. The food and beverage service came with its own hiccups. there was a bit of confusion around ordering at the bar, causing delays that slowed down the experience and made the overall dining feel less smooth than it could have been.

I absolutely loved my stay, especially the stunning room and the high-quality breakfast buffet that was definitely worth the price! The spa access was a fantastic bonus too!
